WINTER 2010 GROUP GUITAR INFORMATION So, you’ve given a new guitar as a gift for the holidays, and you would like to include lessons with the guitar. Or perhaps you have a dust covered guitar sitting in the corner that you’ve tried to play in the past, but gave up on for various reasons. Pick up that instrument and bring it in for group guitar class! 2 CLASSES ARE CURRENTLY FORMING LOCATED IN FREDERICKSBURG & KING GEORGE COUNTY Fredericksburg location - Forte Music Group guitar is a safe, fun setting for the beginner to explore learning the guitar. In this seven-week program, you will learn basic chords, strumming patterns, finger picking, basic blues patterns, songs, and how to properly care for your instrument. You will learn from an expert, upbeat, and patient teacher who loves to play and teach guitar. Note reading is not required to participate. Families are welcome to learn together. Parents of young students (8 – 10 year olds) are especially encouraged to sit in on class. Students need an acoustic or electric guitar to participate. Guitar rentals may be available by calling Brittany Frompovich at 540-604-7266 or emailing her at lady.bass.music@gmail.com three weeks prior to class. If you are taking the class on electric guitar, you will need to bring your own amp and guitar cable to class. Classes will be held from 6 - 7 PM on Wednesdays on Jan. 20th, 27th, Feb. 6th, 13th, 20th, 27th, and Mar. 3rd. The makeup date in case of instructor cancellation is Mar. 10th. King George Location - KG Parks and Rec Group guitar is a safe, fun setting for the beginner to explore learning the guitar. Cost: $100 for a 6 week session for county residents. If enrollment is insufficient, the class will be canceled (so bring a friend or two to enroll!).
